Bill Springer Memorial Scholarship

Bill Springer was a dedicated employee who worked for GTE & Contel for 18 years prior to his death in 1992. This scholarship was originally dedicated to him by members of the Bill Hinkston Telephone Pioneer club. The Hinkston group was a telecommunications related social and public service organization composed of former telephone company employees. Today the family of Bill Springer continues to support this scholarship through annual donations to the fund.
